Job Description

CNA - Behavioral Health/Psych - Travel Contract We're currently seeking a CNA to join our amazing team. Details of the Opportunity Anticipated start date:
ASAP Salary Range:
$32/hour
Shift:
7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a, all contract shifts available
Assignment Length:
8-13 weeks (Extensions usually offered)

Day One Medical Benefits Daily Range of Responsibilities:
Bathing and dressing patients Taking vital signs Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses and doctors Answering patient calls Examining patients for bruises and other injuries/wounds Turning or repositioning patients who are bedridden Lifting patients into beds, wheelchairs or exam tables Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas Provide and empty bedpans Changing sheets and restocking rooms with necessary supplies
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Completed CNA Certificate Program Certified/Licensed to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant with active certification/license in the state in which employed and practices Experience working in Adult Psychiatric/Behavioral Health facilities required Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, mental health, residential treatment, corrections, or group home settings Strong communication and documentation skills Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills required Ability to assist residents with daily living activities and patient care Behavioral Health Technicians, Mental Health Technicians, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and candidates with psychiatric or behavioral health experience are encouraged to apply.
