Qualifications and requirements:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, supporting patients' comfort, and assisting with daily living activities and clinical procedures. High School Diploma or equivalent Every third weekend and 1 major winter and summer holiday is required. Current Montana CNA certification with current listing on the Montana Board of Nursing Nurse Aide Registry. Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation. Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly. Non-Essential Functions.
Education:
Completion of a nursing assistant training course.
Experience:
Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.
License:
Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
Certifications:
CPR/BCLS
