Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Long Term Care facility. The CNA will provide direct patient care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating. 2. Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature. 3. Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a licensed nurse. 4. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. 5. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. 6. Report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff. 7. Participate in resident care planning and team meetings. 8. Follow all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Must be a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in the state of employment. 2. High school diploma or equivalent. 3. Previous experience in long term care or a similar setting preferred. 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work well as part of a team. 6. Basic computer skills. 7. Ability to lift and move patients as needed. 8.
