Job Description

AFC Urgent Care is currently interviewing Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to work at our Arden, NC location. Pay range is commensurate with experience. A full-time career with American Family Care offers. 85% APRN loan forgiveness program at this location for NP's Competitive salary with bonus earning potential paid monthly Work life balance: 3-4 day work week / block shifts / flexible schedule No on-call / No administrative burden Benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, HRA and paid-time-off 401K with Employer Match 100% paid malpractice and tail coverage Reimbursement of Medical License and DEA Fee "UpToDate" subscription paid for by AFC Urgent Care State of the art medical equipment Responsibilities and Duties AFC Urgent Care providers evaluate and treat patients in an efficient and effective manner when immediate care is needed. AFC providers must be comfortable assessing pediatrics as young as 6 months old. They also must be comfortable in performing procedures in which a local anesthetic may be used. AFC providers conduct annual, sports, school, and pre-employment physicals, vaccinations, and interpret results from diagnostic services such as labs and x-rays. Qualifications and Skills AFC providers must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with AANPCP, ANCC or NCCPA; have an active North Carolina State License, DEA number, be (or willing to become) DOT Certified, current ACLS, and registered with CAQH.
