RN to teach Nurse Aide 1 Moon River Nursing Careers Chapel Hill, NC Job Details Part-time $34 - $36 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Direct patient care RN License Clinical instruction Working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds Working with students Adult learning Adult education Full Job Description Nurse Aide 1 instructor Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified RN - Nurse Aide 1 Instructor to join our instructor team. There are opportunities for teaching theory, skills and/or clinicals. Our classes are daytime and evening/weekends. Candidates should have experience in long term care and passion for shaping future healthcare professionals. Duties Teach in the classroom, skills lab and/or lead clinicals using the provided curriculum in accordance with Nurse Aide 1 training standards, integrating current best practices in nurse aide education. Always communicate the importance of professionalism and compassion in providing patient care. Qualifications Valid registered nurse (RN) license with current licensure in NC. At least four years clinical experience Prior teaching experience with adult education programs is desired, but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience. Qualified candidates should send their resume and state whether they are available to teach weekdays (8 a.m.-3 p.m.), the evening class (5:30 p.m.-9:45 p.m.) and some clinicals on Saturdays 6:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Interviews will be scheduled promptly for qualified candidates.
