Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that patients receive respectful, personalized support that promotes their health, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track patient health status Support medication administration under supervision in accordance with healthcare protocols and HIPAA regulations Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or memory care needs, including Alzheimer's disease and behavioral health support Maintain clean and safe patient environments by following aseptic techniques and infection control procedures Document all patient interactions thoroughly within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical records management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver comprehensive patient care Requirements Valid CNA or PCA certification with active licensure in good standing Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation purposes Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification Prior experience with specialized care areas including
ICU, PICU
(Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), behavioral health, geriatrics, or assisted living is highly desirable Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting patients with Hoyer lifts or assisting with transfers safely Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional patient service and eager to grow your skills across a variety of healthcare settings. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
