ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Observe residents and note changes in physical condition, attitude, reactions, appetite, and report changes or unusual findings to charge nurse. Transfer residents from bed to chair; chair to bed. Turn and position residents. Bathe residents-shower and/or tub. Use mechanical lift, transfer patients from chair to tub chair for bathing. Feed/assist with feeding residents and/or prepare meal trays for residents; open containers. Take vital signs and record. Record fluid intake and output. Give oral and dental care to patients. Comb patient's hair. Shave patients.
