Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a CNA/Medtech, where your compassionate care and technical expertise will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. This role combines direct patient care with medical support functions, ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and health. Whether working in long-term care, acute hospital settings, or community-based environments, you will be an essential part of delivering personalized, quality healthcare. Your energy and dedication will help foster a nurturing environment for diverse patient populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized medical attention. Duties Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs, document medical information accurately in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems, and report changes to nursing staff promptly Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Support specialized care needs including Alzheimer's/dementia care, memory care, behavioral health management, hospice support, and infectious disease precautions Assist with clinical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, wound dressing changes, and specimen collection in various settings including hospitals, clinics, or home care environments Operate medical equipment safely and efficiently within acute care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; utilize skills in emergency medicine and trauma response when needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient service across inpatient, outpatient, sub-acute, or community-based programs Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient safety protocols including infection control practices like aseptic technique Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks; experience documenting medical records accurately and efficiently Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medication administration, catheter care, and basic life support (BLS) certification preferred Experience in critical care units such as ICU or PICU; hospital medicine or emergency medicine background highly valued Skilled in using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts; experience with Level II Trauma Centers or Level I Trauma Centers advantageous Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills; capable of working with children and adults across diverse healthcare settings including geriatrics and behavioral health Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
