Scott's Hill Medical Center Join the team at Scott's Hill Medical Center , Novant Health's newest coastal facility, where compassionate care and modern innovation come together. We're seeking Certified Nursing Assistants who want to grow their skills in a supportive, team-centered environment. As part of our ICU, you'll gain hands-on experience in an acute care setting, work alongside highly skilled nurses and providers, and be supported with ongoing development opportunities. This is a chance to build your career while making a meaningful difference for patients and families every day. Acute Care CNA Experience Preferred.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience:
One year preferred. One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Completion of Nurse Assistant I program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation
What You'll Do:
Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care by using your clinical experience to anticipate needs, support daily activities, and promote comfort and dignity throughout each patient's stay. Serve as a trusted partner to nurses and providers, using your seasoned judgment to share meaningful observations, support care plans, and help the team stay aligned in a fast‑paced environment. Guide safe mobility and recovery efforts, drawing on your expertise to assist with ambulation, repositioning, and fall‑prevention practices that keep patients progressing safely. Ensure accurate, timely documentation of vitals and patient status, contributing reliable information that strengthens communication and supports excellent clinical decision‑making. Foster a calm, supportive environment for patients and families, using your experience to offer reassurance, set expectations, and help others feel grounded during challenging moments.
