Key Responsibilities Personal Care :

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. This includes providing incontinence care and ensuring clients maintain personal hygiene. 2

Meal Preparation :

Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences. This may also involve grocery shopping and planning meals. 2

Household Tasks :

Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients. 2

Medication Management :

Help clients manage their medications by reminding them to take their prescribed doses and monitoring for any side effects. 1

Mobility Assistance :

Aid clients in moving around their homes, including transferring them from beds or wheelchairs, and assisting with physical therapy exercises if needed. 1

Companionship :

Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation, activities, and hobbies to promote mental well-being. 2

Monitoring Health :

Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to family members or healthcare providers. 2 4

Basic Healthcare Knowledge :
