• Part-time, Full-time About Atlas Community Care Atlas Community Care is a Medicaid-funded home care agency launching in Grand Forks.

We provide personal care services that help seniors and individuals with disabilities live independently in their own homes. We're hiring per diem CNAs to anchor our Grand Forks direct care team as we launch. What "Per Diem" Means Here You're a fully-onboarded Atlas Community Care employee, ready to take shifts when we offer them. There are no guaranteed hours and no required schedule. We expect 0-10 hours/week as we onboard our first clients (anticipated within 30-60 days), scaling up as our client base grows. This role is a good fit if: You have another primary job and want flexible side income You're a facility CNA looking to pick up home care shifts on your off days You're between roles and want to be onboarded and ready when shifts start coming You value flexibility over predictability This role is NOT a good fit if: You need guaranteed weekly hours starting now You're looking for a full-time replacement to your current job We'd rather be upfront about this than have you start and feel misled. What You'll Do (When Shifts Come) Provide personal care in clients' homes: bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transfers, toileting Meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders Companionship and supervision for clients with chronic conditions or memory care needs Accurate documentation per QSP and Medicaid requirements Communicate with your supervisor and family members about client status What We're Looking For Current North Dakota CNA certification (required) — please include your CNA number or upload a copy with your application Eligible to pass North Dakota background and registry screenings Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Compassion, dependability, professionalism Home care or facility experience preferred, not required Grand Forks-area residence required (within reasonable driving distance to serve local clients) Why $30/Hour Per Diem We pay above the Grand Forks market because per diem means we're asking for flexibility — saying yes to shifts when our clients need you, sometimes on short notice.
