Job Description:
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to collaborate with our patients and staff to uphold compassionate clinical care and clerical support. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the CNA will be responsible for: Escorts patients to examination room. Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, reviewing and/or recording medical, social and psychological history. Ensures a safe, clean environment for patients and co-workers. Collects and records a current medication history for review by the provider. Obtains vital signs; height; weight and records information in patient record. Other duties as assigned. This position is a great opportunity for an individual who is flexible, patient, and skilled at clear communication and critical thinking.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
EXPERIENCE
One month related experience and/or training preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from the State of NE required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire.
