Job Title:
Travel CNA LTC Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care within a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. Weekly Gross Pay:
$1,270.00
Weekly Taxable Pay:

$730.00 Minimum 2 Years' experience in CNA LTC Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced CNA LTC- to fill an opening located in Kimball, NE for $35.27/hr . (Taxed + nontaxed)
Requirements of CNA LTC:
  • Must have AHA BLS certification
  • Must Have NE license.
  • Must have 2 years of CNA LTC experience

Responsibilities of CNA LTC:
Shift:
12-hour Days Shift details: 5 AM to 5 PM 36 hours/week. (3
  • 12) 13-week contract Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, accurately documenting all patient information within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring proper procedures are followed in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care techniques and maintaining a safe environment. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care and phlebotomy when trained and authorized to do so. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to develop personalized care plans. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed through aseptic techniques and proper sanitation practices. Engage residents in social activities and provide emotional support to promote mental well-being. Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program. Prior experience working in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support (BLS). Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is advantageous. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for medical documentation. Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism in all interactions with residents and team members. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information. Physical stamina to assist residents with mobility tasks and perform caregiving duties effectively.
