In this role, you'll provide compassionate, attentive care that ensures our residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary. Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Observe residents and report any changes in health or behavior to the nursing staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living spaces. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols. Assist with documentation and maintain accurate records of care provided. Follow all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Nebraska. Ability to lift and move residents safely. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
