Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA to join our team. This role is integral in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities, memory care requirements, and hospice care. The CNA will engage with clients in a meaningful way, ensuring their comfort and well-being while assisting them in daily activities. Responsibilities Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for each client. Assist clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as necessary, ensuring safety and comfort. Engage clients in social activities and therapeutic exercises to promote mental and emotional well-being. Monitor and document changes in clients' conditions or behaviors, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Provide first aid as needed and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care that meets the diverse needs of clients. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Qualifications Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with hospice care principles and memory care strategies is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
