The ideal candidate will provide direct support to patients in a variety of settings, including assisted living facilities and senior care environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, ensuring the dignity and rights of residents are upheld while assisting with daily living activities. Duties Provide direct support to patients, assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and observe patients for any changes in condition, reporting findings to nursing staff. Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Support individuals with developmental disabilities and autism by implementing personalized care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to all safety protocols. Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times. Administer first aid as needed and respond promptly to emergencies. Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or as a Nursing Assistant is preferred but not required. Knowledge of senior care practices and resident rights is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients with mobility challenges. Strong observational skills for monitoring patient conditions effectively. Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations, including individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
