Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized in-home care to clients with various needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or hospice care. Your efforts will help clients maintain independence and improve their quality of life through attentive, respectful caregiving. Duties Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition Assist with medication administration following prescribed instructions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Support patients with memory care needs, dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized techniques Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document care activities accurately and securely Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care when necessary Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to promote a safe living environment Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, medication management, and patient documentation practices Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice or dementia care are a plus Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is highly valued Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred for live-in or community-based roles Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve! Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
