Job Description

Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center , located in Blackwood, NJ, has Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) positions available for FT and Weekends! We are a long-term care facility looking for the right Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.

Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center offers a pleasant working atmosphere, competitive rates of pay $21.00 to $24.00 per hour ( No Frills $24.00 per hour) and a generous benefit package including Health, Dental, Vision, matched 401(k), PTO Days cash out and carry over, and uniforms. Job Requirements Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of NJ in good standing. NA's must have completed 90 hour accredited CNA course

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour

K Duties:
Assist with patient care and ADL's under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse Perform basic nursing procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with activities of daily living Provide gastric lavage and airway management as needed Assit patients with feeding and meal consumption assistance Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient needs are met Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems such as Cerner and POC point click care Provide specialized care for patients with special needs, dementia Assist with the management of durable medical equipment (DME)
Skills:
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Cerner and Point click care Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
