CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Acute Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, and rehabilitation centers. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients, assisting them with daily activities and monitoring their health status. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Provide support for patients with developmental disabilities and those requiring dementia care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care. Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. Assist in the mobility of patients by helping them move safely within the facility. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Participate in training programs to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program preferred. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent is highly desirable. Experience in medical-surgical settings or teaching hospitals is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting patients when necessary.
