Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a quick offer role to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing essential patient care and support across various clinical settings, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, with experience in diverse medical environments including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living, and home health. This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient recovery and quality of life while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration Support medical staff by preparing patients for examinations and procedures Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently Assist with medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation Operate patient lifting equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments Support patients with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs compassionately Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
Requirements:
Current CNA certification with valid licensure in the applicable state Prior experience in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers preferred Experience working with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques Familiarity with specialized care areas including hospice, palliative care, or pediatric settings Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within diverse teams Ability to handle physically demanding tasks using equipment like Hoyer lifts safely Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medication administration are advantageous Experience in geriatric care, memory care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued Demonstrated commitment to patient service excellence and confidentiality standards This role is designed for motivated professionals eager to make a positive impact on patient outcomes through compassionate caregiving.
