Qualifications and Experience:
Active CNA certification with good standing Previous experience in pediatric, school, or community healthcare settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and team members Ability to remain compassionate, responsive, and calm in any situation Proficient at maintaining accurate health records and confidential information Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Flexible and adaptable, with a passion for working in a school setting
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and assistance to students under the supervision of a licensed nurse or administrator Support students with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and feeding Implement individualized healthcare plans and monitor students' medical needs Observe and report changes in students' health status promptly Maintain clean and organized healthcare spaces within the school Assist in the documentation of healthcare services and compliance procedures Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a safe and supportive environment Here, your compassion and expertise will help students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
