Part-time Night CNA

Shifts:

Hours 6pm•12am. Sundays•Saturdays open shifts. Asking at least on day on the weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist residents with bedtime routines , including changing clothes and oral care Provide toileting and incontinence care throughout the night Assist residents with activities of daily living , including bathing, dressing, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Reposition residents every 2 hours to prevent pressure injuries Assist residents who wake during the night and need help getting up safely Ensure residents' safety by making regular rounds throughout the night Monitor and record vital signs accurately Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, or behavioral health conditions. Follow infection control and safety procedures Respond promptly to patient calls or emergencies, utilizing basic life support skills when required. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in post-acute care, hospice, or acute care settings to deliver comprehensive patient care. Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nurse Provide companionship and emotional support to residents as needed Keep rooms and work areas clean and organized Requirements Valid CNA certification and license Proficiency with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring. Experience with specialized care such as Alzheimer's/dementia care, behavioral health, geriatrics, or post-acute settings preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance. Ability to work overnight shifts (night shift) on a part-time basis; flexibility for additional hours is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and disabilities including developmental disabilities and those requiring assisted living or home & community care.
