Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) /PRN - Advanced Surgical Center

Position Summary:

Advanced Surgical Center, a growing 3-room ambulatory surgery center in Las Vegas, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a PRN basis. This role supports nursing and clinical staff by assisting with basic patient care and maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, ambulation, and toileting before and after procedures Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff Support nursing staff in pre-operative and post-operative patient care areas Prepare and maintain patient care areas, including room setup, cleaning, and restocking supplies Transport patients safely throughout the facility as directed Assist with documentation and charting under the direction of licensed personnel Follow infection prevention, OSHA, HIPAA, and patient safety protocols Provide excellent customer service and compassionate patient support

Qualifications:

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Nevada required Current BLS certification required Minimum of six (6) months of healthcare experience preferred Surgical center, outpatient, or procedural experience preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
