Job Summary Join our dedicated home health team as a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) , where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health conditions, and supporting overall well-being. As a Home Health CNA, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care that promotes independence, dignity, and comfort in a familiar environment. We are seeking compassionate and reliable CNAs who are passionate about providing empathetic, patient-centered care while building meaningful one-on-one relationships with those they serve. What You'll Do Provide direct patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Assist with transfers and ambulation, including the use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Observe and report changes in patient condition, including symptoms related to dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments Assist with medication reminders and administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance Support patients with specialized needs such as catheter care, hospice care, developmental disabilities, or memory care requirements Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and ensure all medical records remain current and compliant with healthcare regulations Collaborate effectively with nurses, caregivers, families, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care What We Offer Competitive pay at $20-25/hour Flexible per diem scheduling—you choose when and how often you work Opportunities to build toward full-time hours Supportive and collaborative leadership team Meaningful one-on-one patient relationships A rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact within your community Qualifications Active CNA certification in Nevada with current state licensure CPR Certification (required) At least 6 months-1 year of caregiving or CNA experience (home health preferred) Prior experience in home health, long-term care, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple patients across different locations Compassionate, dependable, patient-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional care Preferred Experience & Skills Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures related to patient observation and care Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes Training in emergency response procedures and patient safety protocols Experience supporting hospice patients or individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus Join Village Home Health and help us bring compassionate care into the homes—and hearts—of those who need it most.
