10:45 PM•7:15 AM (30-minute unpaid meal break) Position Summary We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to provide direct resident care in a long-term care setting. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the CNA assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and other activities of daily living (ADLs). Assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and mobility support. Obtain and record vital signs and accurately document resident care activities. Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff. Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and safety. Follow infection prevention and control procedures and comply with established policies and standards. Participate in orientation programs and required training. Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care. Maintain accurate time records and adhere to assigned schedules. Support quality assurance initiatives and cooperate with investigations involving resident care and safety. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Active New York State Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required. Active and in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry. Current CPR certification. Minimum one (1) year of healthcare or long-term care experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Credentialing and Compliance Requirements Candidates must provide the following prior to assignment: Current New York State CNA certification with renewals as applicable. Verification of active and good standing status on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry. Current CPR certification. Current resume. Two (2) professional references from current or previous employers verifying dates of employment and satisfactory performance. Physical examination and health clearance confirming fitness for duty. Proof of immunity to Rubella and Rubeola. Compliance with
COVID-19
vaccination requirements. Documentation of an annual PPD skin test for tuberculosis; candidates with a known positive PPD must provide a negative chest X-ray completed within the past two years. Copies of applicable training certificates, diplomas, and professional credentials.
Pay:
$18.00•$20.00 per hour
