13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation Unit specializing in the care of residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and other cognitive disorders accompanied by behavioral disturbances. This unit focuses on stabilizing residents with unpredictable verbal and/or physical aggression and preparing them for successful discharge to the least restrictive environment possible.

7 Residents Requirements Minimum 1 year of CNA experience Active CNA certification (as required by state regulations) BLS Certification Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred Experience working with dementia and behavioral health populations is highly desirable Clinical Skills Required Candidates should be proficient in: Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Bathing and hygiene assistance Feeding assistance Oral and perineal care Grooming and shaving Shower assistance Skin care and pressure injury prevention Mobility & Transfers Ambulation assistance Safe patient transfers Hoyer lift operation Transfer belts and sliding boards Wheelchair assistance Turning and repositioning Patient Monitoring Vital signs collection Pulse oximetry Weight measurement and documentation Intake and output monitoring Reporting changes in patient condition Clinical Support Catheter care Fluid restriction monitoring NPO patient care Passive range-of-motion exercises Isolation precautions and PPE use Equipment cleaning and maintenance For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
