Position Overview:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with our nursing team to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility. Monitor and record residents' vital signs, report changes in condition to the nursing team. Assist with feeding, position changes, and turning of residents as required. Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for all residents. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents. Document care provided and any changes in residents' conditions. Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care plans are being followed.
Qualifications:
Current CNA certification in New York State. 1 Year+ Experience CPR/BLS certification (preferred). Previous experience in long-term care or healthcare settings is a plus, but not required. Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must be reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
