Job Description

Job Overview We are currently seeking a CNA or Nurse Assistant to join a Medical Surgical Float Pool team at a leading hospital in West Islip, NY. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care. Support nursing staff in delivering quality patient care. Monitor and report changes in patient condition. Float to various units throughout the hospital as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience required. Acute care experience preferred. Current BLS certification (AHA only). CNA certification is welcome but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Pay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
