The ideal candidate must have strong long-term care nursing experience, prior experience teaching or working with high school-aged students, and hold a current Train-the-Trainer Certificate. The instructor will provide classroom instruction, hands-on skills training, clinical supervision, and mentorship while maintaining a positive and professional learning environment. Minimum Qualifications Applicants MUST meet the following requirements: Active Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN) in the State of Ohio Minimum of 2 years long-term care nursing experience required Current Ohio Train-the-Trainer Certificate required Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or educational experience with high school-aged students required Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to maintain professionalism and classroom management Knowledge of

curriculum according to state guidelines Providing classroom instruction and hands-on skills training Supervising students during clinical experiences Maintaining attendance and student records Preparing students for state testing Creating a positive and respectful learning environment Enforcing classroom policies and professionalism standards Monitoring student progress and providing support when needed Educating students on infection control, resident rights, safety, and patient care Communicating with program leadership regarding student concerns or performance issues Assisting with orientation and student onboarding Professional Expectations Employees are expected to: Maintain professionalism at all times Serve as a positive role model for students Demonstrate patience and leadership Promote respect, accountability, and teamwork Maintain confidentiality Support student success and development Work Schedule Part-Time Evening and/or weekend hours may be required Clinical and classroom schedules may vary Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to demonstrate nursing assistant skills Ability to lift, move, and assist residents/students as needed during skills training Compensation Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
