STNA/CNA Home Health Aide

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Home Health Aide, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with seniors, individuals with dementia, and those requiring memory care. Your hands-on support will empower clients to maintain independence and improve their quality of life while working within a supportive team environment. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts. Support clients with meal preparation, cooking, laundry, cleaning, and other home care tasks to promote a safe and comfortable environment. Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's/dementia care. Maintain compliance with safety protocols such as CPR certification and proper use of medical equipment like Hoyer lifts. Communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient progress and medical documentation to ensure continuity of care across home & community settings. Qualifications Valid certification as an STNA or CNA with current state licensure or registration. Prior experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments preferred; experience with long-term care is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. CPR certification required Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting patients safely using Hoyer lifts and assisting with mobility needs. Current TB testing will be required Background check required

$18.00 per hour
