SIGN ON BONUS
up to $5000 depending on part time or full time. Paid every two weeks and begins immediately upon start. Weekend shift differential and night shift differential Full time, Part time and PRN available Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) available for all shifts to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your energy and commitment will directly enhance the quality of life for our patients by delivering attentive, respectful, and professional support. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in diverse clinical settings, utilizing your skills to make a meaningful difference every day. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA and medical records protocols. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments through compassionate engagement and tailored activities. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care and wound management to prevent infection. Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver patient-centered care in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or behavioral health settings. Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate recording of patient information using EMR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities in long-term or community-based care environments. Knowledge of critical care practices including ICU experience, Level I Trauma Center procedures, or Level II Trauma Center protocols. Familiarity with medical terminology related to geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice care, or post-acute settings. Ability to perform phlebotomy and handle infectious disease precautions effectively. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care across various specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology, or orthopedics. Experience operating patient lifts like Hoyer lifts and working within hospital medicine or outpatient clinics. Competence in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or CareCloud for accurate medical documentation and patient service records.
