Category Schools - CNA Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Certified Nurse Assistant working full time in a school-based setting near Hilliard, OH. This position supports students and staff through a variety of essential health-related services, playing a vital role in the daily operations of a vibrant educational environment. Key Qualifications:
Current CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) license in Ohio Experience working in school settings preferred, but passionate new CNAs are encouraged to apply Skilled in basic nursing tasks and documentation Comfortable gathering and organizing caseload details Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work efficiently as part of a collaborative team Strong attention to detail and confidentiality standards Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the school calendar
Responsibilities:
Provide daily care and support to students with medical or physical needs Assist the school nurse and staff with health room duties and emergency situations Monitor students' health status and record observations Document and report findings and concerns to nursing staff and appropriate team members Support individualized health plans (IHPs), including gathering details about caseloads as assigned Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized health office environment Communicate compassionately with students, parents, and staff Perks of the
