Job Description

Overview We are offering a comprehensive, paid
CNA / STNA
training program designed to prepare individuals for a rewarding career in healthcare. This program is ideal for those passionate about providing compassionate patient care and eager to develop their skills in various healthcare settings. The training is provided at no cost to participants, with the goal of fostering professional growth and certification readiness. Successful completion of this program will enable participants to work as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) across diverse healthcare environments, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care agencies. Duties Assist with patient activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates Support patient safety through proper use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed Document patient care activities accurately using EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide compassionate care tailored to specific needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, or behavioral health conditions Support medical procedures including medication administration and catheter care under supervision Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain a clean and safe environment adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards Engage in ongoing education related to physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and specialized care such as pediatric or geriatric nursing Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring Experience or familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks preferred Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders, and patients requiring hospice or trauma care Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate caregiving attitude with a focus on patient safety and dignity Ability to adapt quickly to different healthcare settings such as acute care hospitals (ICU, emergency medicine), outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities Experience with specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or managing complex medical needs is a plus but not required This paid training program aims to equip aspiring healthcare professionals with the essential skills needed for a successful career in patient care across multiple clinical environments. Applicants should demonstrate a genuine commitment to caregiving excellence and a willingness to learn advanced medical procedures.
Pay:
$15.50 - $18.50 per hour
