Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including urgent care, long-term care, and memory care facilities. This role requires a commitment to patient care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical documentation and familiarity with behavioral health practices will be advantageous. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and record vital signs and patient health information accurately. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, especially those in memory care or behavioral health settings. Help with mobility assistance, including lifting and transferring patients safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the patient care area. Document patient interactions and care provided in compliance with medical office standards. Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Support children's healthcare needs when working in pediatric settings or Level I Trauma Centers. Requirements Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Experience in urgent care, long-term care, home care, or memory care is highly desirable. Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Familiarity with medical documentation processes is essential. Previous experience working with children is a plus.
