Category Schools - CNA Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Certified Nurse Assistant, making a tangible difference in the lives of students throughout the academic year. This full-time position supports a local school community near Westerville, OH, providing compassionate and attentive care to students in an educational setting. Your days will be filled with meaningful interactions, working collaboratively with educational staff, school nurses, and other professionals to ensure students' health and well-being are always a top priority. Whether assisting with daily routines, responding to immediate care needs, or supporting children with chronic and acute conditions, you'll play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and safe school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current CNA certification and credentials in good standing Previous experience in school settings, pediatrics, or similar roles strongly preferred Excellent communication skills and a patient, adaptable demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant regulations Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct care to students as outlined in individual health plans Assist students with mobility, toileting, feeding, and other daily living activities Help monitor health status and report concerns to the school nurse or supervisor Maintain accurate records of care provided, interventions, and student responses Work closely with teachers and staff to support classroom participation for all students
