We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Tulsa Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities:
Provides certified nursing assistant services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies, and procedures Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding Lifts, transfers, and repositions residents using proper body mechanics and equipment Celebrates residents' dignity and independence while ensuring their safety and well-being Maintains accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services Participates in care conferences and provides input on resident care plans Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery Reports changes in resident condition, concerns, or issues to the nursing staff and supervisor Demonstrates a commitment to quality care, customer service, and teamwork
Requirements:
Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state High school diploma or equivalent Current CPR/BLS certification At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Physical stamina to perform the duties of the position, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Additional Skills and Traits:
Ability to work beyond normal working hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary Positive interpersonal relationship skills, including with persons of all ages and cultures Basic computer skills, including ability to navigate electronic medical record systems Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Strong attendance and punctuality record
Working Conditions:
May be subject to falls, burns, and/or odors throughout the day Encounter reactions from dust, tobacco smoke, disinfectants, and other air contaminants Subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and/or conditions May work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, and stoop for extended periods
