Hospitality Aide Job Duties Hospitality aides typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include: Performing basic administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying Welcoming guests and answering questions about hotel policies, facilities, and services Ensuring that the hotel is clean and safe by performing routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, scrubbing floors, and cleaning bathrooms Providing front desk support such as answering phones, greeting guests, and scheduling appointments Handling cash transactions using a cash register or point of sale system Assisting with special events such as weddings and conferences by setting up chairs, arranging flowers, serving food and beverages, etc. Performing clerical duties such as typing, filing, and data entry Answering guest questions about local amenities and activities or providing them with information about restaurants and entertainment options in the area Preparing guest rooms by making beds, cleaning bathrooms, refilling towels and linens, etc.
