Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Summary:
Join our team at Bell Avenue Nursing in Elk City, Oklahoma, where we prioritize exceptional patient care and compassionate service. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) , you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, consistent with company policy. Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents. Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure. Observe and report on residents' conditions, and document observations as required. Promote a safe and clean environment. Comply with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of department, resident, employee information, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Enrolled or graduated from an accredited Certified nursing aide school and a current, valid license or registration (CNA) in the state where employed. Current certification to practice as a certified nurse aide. Current CPR certification desired. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, nursing/Resident progress notes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from department heads, customers (Residents, family members, physicians, etc.) and the public. Computer skills required.
