Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, especially those with dementia or memory care needs. Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and ensure proper documentation in electronic health records. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Support patients in home community care settings as needed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Participate in training sessions related to caregiving techniques and patient care best practices. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program preferred. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA). Experience in caregiving or patient service roles is advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as PointClickCare is a plus. Knowledge of dementia care practices and experience working in memory care settings is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
