Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Staffing Coordinator Duties:
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly nursing schedules Coordinate shift coverage for call-outs, vacations, and leaves Maintain accurate staff attendance records Communicate scheduling changes to appropriate personnel Ensure staffing meets regulatory requirements and facility census Work with HR and DON to track credentials, licenses, and renewals Maintain open communication with nursing leadership to identify and respond to staffing needs Update the scheduling software or tools regularly Assist in onboarding and scheduling orientation for new hires
Central Supply Duties:
Monitor inventory levels of medical, office, and janitorial supplies Order supplies in accordance with budget and usage trends Receive and organize incoming supply deliveries Track usage and expiration dates of time-sensitive items Distribute supplies efficiently to nursing and support departments Ensure secure and clean storage of all supplies Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with audits Communicate with vendors and manage backorders or supply delays Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Qualifications:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (required) High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in healthcare staffing, scheduling, or central supply (preferred) Familiarity with nursing facility operations and terminology Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of central supply procedures and budgeting a plus
