Night Shift Pay Range:

Smaller moments, bigger impact: Work closely with post-surgical patients where your attention directly supports healing, comfort, and dignity More than tasks: You're not just turning rooms, you're part of a coordinated care team that values your voice and observations Consistency matters here: Stable night shift team where reliability and accountability are respected and recognized Grow your career: Opportunity to float within the hospital and build new skills across units once trained PNW lifestyle: Live and work minutes from trails, rivers, and mountains; real balance outside of work What you'll do (real work, real impact) Support patients after surgery with hands-on care; helping them move, rest, eat, and recover safely Take vital signs, track intake/output, and notice changes, then communicate clearly with the RN Help patients with personal care like bathing, toileting, and dressing, while preserving dignity Assist with walking, repositioning, and mobility to prevent complications and speed recovery Keep rooms clean, stocked, and ready so care isn't delayed Document care clearly and accurately in the system Help keep the unit running by answering call lights, phones, and assisting with coordination Reliability matters: Show up on time, every shift, ready to support your team Follow through on assigned responsibilities, as your consistency directly impacts patient safety and team trustSuccess Matrix:
How you make a difference In this role, success isn't measured by volumes, it's measured by outcomes and experience: Patients feel safe, supported, and respected during vulnerable post-surgical recovery Early mobility and attentive care help reduce complications and length of stay Nurses rely on your observations to catch subtle but important changes Families feel confident knowing their loved one is being cared for with compassion The unit runs smoothly because you help create consistency and reliability across shifts What you bring Current Oregon CNA certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through either AHA or American Red Cross A strong sense of responsibility; you follow through and show up for your patients and team Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and attentive Clear, respectful communication with patients and teammates Nice to have (but not required) If you've worked in acute care before, especially in surgical or hospital settings, you'll have a head start, but we're happy to help you grow into this role.
