Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistant William Penn Care Center Jeannette, Pa Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at William Penn Care Center in Jeannette, PA. The ideal candidate will provide individualized care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. As a CNA, you will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that each resident receives the highest level of care.
Responsibilities:
Provide resident-centered care, including vital sign monitoring, bathing, dressing, and grooming Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, incontinence care, and wound management Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nurse Document resident care and progress in Point Click Care Participate in shift reports and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
Must possess a GED or High school Diploma Must be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state Must have effective oral and written communication skills Must meet all local health regulations and criminal background checks, post-offer drug test, and post-offer physical exam, if required Must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements Must be able to obtain and record vital signs manually and electronically
Working Conditions:
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday Must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with others Must be willing to perform tasks that may involve exposure to the blood and/or body fluids Must be willing to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
