In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help enhance the well-being and comfort of our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure patient stability Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and aseptic technique during clinical tasks in hospital or outpatient settings Maintain accurate medical records and documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care environments like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers to deliver comprehensive patient service and support emergency medicine protocols Experience Prior experience working as a CNA in diverse healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices including aseptic techniques Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for medical documentation and patient records management Critical care experience in environments like ICU or Level II Trauma Centers is advantageous Familiarity with specialized patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients or individuals with disabilities Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications like Phlebotomy or DME (Durable Medical Equipment) training are a plus Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as urgent care or emergency medicine units while maintaining attention to detail and compassion Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
