Position Purpose:
TheNursing Assistant(uncertified, certified, unlicensed, or licensed)works in a collaborative environment at St. Mary Medical Centertoprovide safe, quality health care services& / or assistance to patients under the supervision& direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies& procedures. Must haveadditional training through the achievement of in-house certifications or have successful completion of role specific certification or licensing.

Full Time Days - 8HR Shifts As delegated by a licensed nurse, performsbasic to complex patient careneedsandessential dutiesappropriate to role/function. Participates in direct one-to-one patient observation tomaintain a safe& therapeutic environment. Engages in therapeutic communication andassists nurses& designated health care professional in keeping detailed records,maintaining clear communication between the entire care team& working with patients& families. May serve as a resource (lead), role model& / or mentor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in high school, completing a GED, or obtained a high school diploma or GED. Specialty license, certification, training, or experience according to assignment area in the applicable state(s) of engagement. Valid driver's license where required by assignment.
