$22-27.00/hr Pennswood Village is seeking a Full-Time CNA for their Skilled Nursing Unit! Excellent staffing ratios! The Certified Nursing Assistant will function under the direction of the nurse-in-charge in the delivery of personal patient care to the residents in Skilled Nursing . Provides personal patient care services in conjunction with established nursing policy and procedure under the direct supervision of the nurse in charge. Maintains accurate and objective written and oral communications through the use of the problem-oriented record system. Plans and completes patient care assignments, assisting patients with all activities of daily living. Participates in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the individual patient plan of care as a part of the interdisciplinary team. Maintains and insures the personal rights of all patients through knowledge of and advocacy of the Patient's Bill of Rights. Establishes safe and accurate working habits in the delivery of individual patient care. Participates in ongoing education to extend knowledge and improve skills. Participates in the orientation of new staff members. Assists in the development of Health Service programs. Actively participates in monitoring the medical alert and fire alarm systems.
