Job Description

Caden Care Homecare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to initiate and oversee all new client cases. This is a leadership role designed for a compassionate, dependable professional who thrives in both independent and team-based environments. Candidates must have open availability and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. Position Overview The Lead CNA plays a critical role in ensuring smooth transitions of care for new clients. This position is responsible for beginning all new cases, establishing rapport with the consumer and family, implementing the care plan, and acclimating the permanent caregiver to the client's daily routines and individualized needs. Additionally, the Lead CNA will monitor the assigned caregiver's performance during the first 30 days to ensure continuity, quality, and compliance with Caden Care standards. This role also requires willingness to fill in on cases as needed and complete supervisory field reviews. Why Work at Caden Care? Key Responsibilities Initiate and manage all new start-of-care cases Establish and implement individualized care routines Acclimate permanent caregivers to the consumer's daily needs and preferences Monitor and evaluate caregiver performance during the first 30 days Conduct field visits and supervisory reviews Assist with staff orientations and ongoing training of home care aides in the field Provide hands-on support during transitional periods Fill in on cases when needed to maintain continuity of care Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Light housekeeping Meal preparation Grocery shopping and errands Provide companionship and meaningful engagement Observe, document, and report changes in client condition Communicate client needs to the nursing team and office staff as appropriate Support clients in navigating appointments and healthcare services Qualifications Active CNA certification (required) Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable caregiving, housekeeping, or environmental services experience Strong leadership and mentorship skills Excellent documentation and communication abilities Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans precisely Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and work locations Flexible availability Ability to work independently and collaboratively Must be willing to work full-time What We Offer 401(k) retirement plan Life Insurance Supplemental Insurance (long-term, short-term disability, credit union) Commitment to work/life balance Supportive team environment Meaningful, community-focused work Serious applicants only.
