5 days/week | 8-hour shifts About the Facility Selinsgrove State Centre provides 24/7 residential care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a compassionate, team-oriented environment. The facility serves approximately 250 residents across 19 living areas on a 254-acre campus , offering meaningful opportunities to make a lasting impact through patient-centered care. Position Overview We are seeking experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join the care team on a 26-week contract assignment with the possibility to extend . In this role, you will provide hands-on support and daily care while promoting dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life for residents. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient/resident care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Support rehabilitation and individualized care plans Assist residents with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and personal care Monitor resident status and communicate updates to nursing staff Encourage participation in therapeutic, recreational, and daily activities Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident environments Follow facility policies, nursing standards, and physician instructions Participate in ongoing training and education programs Minimum Qualifications Six (6) months of experience as an Aide Trainee OR One (1) year of paid experience caring for geriatric or physically ill patients/residents High school diploma or GED required Current Pennsylvania CNA certification required for Long-Term Care assignments Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Ideal Candidate Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or residential care environments Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable and resident-focused approach to care Ability to work effectively in a structured healthcare environment Schedule & Additional Requirements 30-minute unpaid lunch Every other weekend required Rotating holidays required No Request Time Off (RTO) during the first 4 weeks of orientation Strict no cell phone policy during work hours

$19.00•$23.00 per hour
