Labor, delivery, and neonatal support Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Testing Anesthesia and Respiratory Therapy Physical Therapy and Occupational Health Sleep Center for diagnosing and treating sleep disorders The hospital accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid (Apple Health), and offers financial assistance programs. Services are available in Spanish , and there are no eligibility restrictions for care.

General HUC/CNA - Part-Time Day-Shift in OPS Department (Monday's, Wednesday's & Every Other Friday) Othello Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant - Health Unit Coordinator (CNA-HUC) to join our OPS Department. This hybrid role supports both direct patient care and unit coordination functions to help ensure high-quality, efficient care delivery in a collaborative healthcare environment. This is a part-time, day-shift position scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday , with a minimum of 24 hours per week . This position is benefit-eligible .

24hrs/Week, Days, Every Monday, Wednesday and every other
Friday Status:
Part-Time; (benefit earning)
Wage Range:
$19.77 - $29.38/hour
Essential Duties & Responsibilities CNA Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, dressing, and toileting Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other patient information Support patient comfort and safety while maintaining dignity and confidentiality Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges Maintain clean and organized patient care areas HUC Responsibilities Coordinate communication between nursing staff, providers, departments, and patients Answer phones, call lights, and unit communications professionally and efficiently Enter and maintain accurate patient information and physician orders in the electronic medical record Schedule tests, procedures, and patient transport as needed Maintain unit supplies, records, and documentation in accordance with hospital standards
Qualifications:
Current Washington State CNA certification required Current BLS certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire) Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Previous CNA and/or unit coordinator experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Basic computer and electronic medical record proficiency preferred Why Join Our Team?
