If you are looking for new challenges this may be the opportunity for you. You will be expected to work as part of a Multidisciplinary Team and be actively involved in providing high standards of quality care. Main duties of the job You will also be expected to demonstrate a high level of nursing assessment and clinical care skills by supporting Band 5 nurses and other Band 2 HCSW's. In addition you will be required to provide support and advice to patients and their families/carers. NVQ Level 2 essential. The post holder will work as part of a team that provides health care services to patients within an Adult Inpatient department/ward, focusing on the direct needs of service users undergoing healthcare treatments. The post holder is expected to work within clinical competencies with supporting base knowledge. You will be expected to work within defined protocols, adhering to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Wales under the direction and close supervision of and reporting to a registered nurse. Currently we are unable to provide certificates of sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the Home Office's criteria. Anyone requiring a certificate of sponsorship is therefore unable to be shortlisted and interviewed This post is currently advertised at Band 2. The role is under review within the Health Board as part of a national review and may, in future, progress to Band 3 with an updated job description.
