The ideal candidate will work in private home care environments. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care and assisting with daily living activities. The Certified Nursing Assistant will work closely with Stay at Home staff to ensure the well-being of clients and contribute to a positive in home care experience. Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Help transport patients in their homes and assist with mobility needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and in home care provider team members regarding client care.
  • Document client care activities accurately in medical records.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills. Requirements
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working in various environments such as nursing homes, assisted living, private homes or home community care is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to client care.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or moving clients.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care while maintaining client confidentiality.
